Job Description
Our Ledbury based client is seeking a Cost Accountant on a temporary basis to support this small finance team during a busy period.
This is a temporary position with an immediate start and would suit a candidate seeking a short-term position, although those candidates considering a permanent role are encouraged to apply as this position has the potential to develop into a longer-term project.
What you can expect:
* Salary: £40,000+ per annum, depending on experience
* Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (reduced hours considered)
* Immediate start on a temporary basis following an initial interview period
* Weekly pay
* Holiday pay accrued throughout the assignment
* Rural location - own transport essential
What you will be doing:
* Management accounts and analysis responsibilities
* Cost accounting
* Month end preparation
* Cashflow and budgeting
* Xero
* Working closely with a Finance Manager to support up to and beyond year end
What we are looking for:
* Management accounts experience
* Cost accounting experience
* Proficient across financial functions within a small business
* Xero experience preferred, although not essential as system training will be provided
