Job Description

COP Costs Draftsperson / Costs Lawyer Full Time, Permanent Up to £60,000 DOE North of England Hybrid or Remote Working   We are looking for experienced Claimant Costs Draftspersons’ / Costs Lawyers who specialise in court of protection and want to continue to grow their costs careers.   Job Details and Benefits: Full time, permanent Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (flexible working available) Hybrid or remote working with fortnightly meetings to one of their modern offices in the North of England. Interesting & varied work, Supportive & friendly team, Strong Client base 25 days paid holiday per year plus + bank holidays + Xmas Shutdown   Main duties and responsibilities: Drafting bills of costs (using CostsMaster drafting software) in both traditional and electronic (Precedent S) format Preparing Costs Budgets in form Precedent H in accordance with Departmental requirements/workstreams Managing your own caseload dealing with complex matters. Client care and business development   What we need from you: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in costs – inhouse or external costs. Experience in bill drafting, budgeting and negotiations. Knowledge of Costsmaster Desire to grow and develop.
