Job Description
JOB – Control Systems Engineer
LOCATION – Somerset
TERM - Permanent
SALARY – £45,000- £65,000 per annum.
A Somerset based engineering company are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
BEng or equivalent controls or electrical engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
3 years’ controls& automation experience – from design through to commissioning.
Strong PLC & HMI programming skills.
Strong software knowledge – ideally Siemens or Mitsubishi.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication skills.The Control Systems Engineer’s duties will involve:
The design of contro systems & panels.
Creating & developing electrical drawings & schematics.
Involvement with final stage commissioning.
Providing support to other engineers when required.
Ensuring health & safety regulations are met at all times.
