The role of the Contract Kitchen Designer will involve:
* Kitchen Designer role selling a manufactured range of contract kitchens into Tier 1 contactors
* Producing accurate designs and quotations for kitchen layouts using CAD software
* Create quotations, ensuring that all additional items and accessories are included as per the client’s specification
* Discuss design requirements with the client / contractor to build relationships and to ensure our drawings are ‘right first time’
* Create tender documents in presentation format to be issued back to the client
* Able to check designs/quotes accurately including other people’s work
* Adhere to internal working systems and procedures
* Read tender enquiries and extract customer specification
* Producing designs for circa 100 – 600 kitchens with a project value ranging between £1m to £6m
The ideal applicant will be a Contract Kitchen Designer with:
* Must have design experience within the kitchens market sector, ideally experienced with contract kitchens
* Self-sufficient who can hit the ground running
* Familiar with AutoCAD, Winner or Fusion
* Deliver excellent customer service
* Charismatic, very personable, professional and confident
* IT literate (Microsoft Office)
* Organised, methodical, good journey planner
