Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist to join a specialist private healthcare provider in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a consultant with expertise in General Adult Psychiatry to take responsibility for a well-established 10-bedded female acute inpatient ward.
You will be part of a wider multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality psychiatric care to NHS-referred patients in a therapeutic, modern, and well-supported environment.
The Role:
*
Consultant responsibility for a female acute inpatient mental health ward
*
Work closely with a full Multidisciplinary Team, including a Specialty Doctor
*
Lead on clinical assessments, care planning, treatment, and reviews
*
Engage in service development, clinical governance, and team leadership
*
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including NHS referrers
Candidate Requirements:
*
CCT (or equivalent) in General Adult Psychiatry
*
Full GMC registration with a license to practice
*
Section 12 and Approved Clinician (AC) status under the MHA 1983
*
Previous experience working as a Consultant Psychiatrist in an NHS or equivalent setting
*
Strong background in acute inpatient and outpatient psychiatry
*
Comfortable leading and supervising multi-disciplinary and junior medical teams
*
Committed to delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care
