Job Title: Construction Estimator

Company Overview:
Join a successful and growing main contractor based in Sussex. As the main contractor, they deliver projects ranging from £750k to £15 million, primarily serving the Sussex, Surrey and London areas. Projects typically involve commercial, education and facade remediation schemes.They tend to operate under JCT contracts, both Design and Build and traditional. As an SME, they have a turnover of circa £20m, but that is growing year on year and has been sustained for a number of years. They have a great repeat client base.
Role Overview:
As a Construction Estimator, you will report directly to the Directors and work alongside other estimators. You will independently manage enquiries and convert them into secured contracts with confirmed start dates. Engaging closely with customers, you will understand their brief and create successful bids using traditional estimation methods based on drawings and project details.
Key Responsibilities:

Use traditional estimation methods based on drawings and received project briefs.
Requirements:

Proven experience in the UK as a construction estimator.
*
Experience working at the front end of the construction process with job estimation.
*
Experience pricing £2m+ jobs in a variety of sectors.
*
A willingness to visit sites throughout the South East as required.
