Job Description
Concierge
The estate Services team provides cleaning, gardening, and concierge services across all regions. Our goal is to deliver a high-quality, cost-effective service, working closely with housing management teams, landlord services, residents, reactive maintenance, and external contractors.
Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent customer-focused concierge and block security services.
* Enhance block security and ensure a clean, safe environment.
* Monitor and maintain CCTV systems.
* Inspect and report block faults, repairs, and health & safety issues.
* Undertake daily cleaning duties in communal areas and lifts.
* Conduct general health and safety checks.
* Complete tasks as per concierge schedules.
* Wear protective clothing/equipment.
* Ensure displayed information is appropriate and current.
* Maintain accurate records of visitors, health and safety, and observations.
* Adhere to internal policies, procedures, and data protection regulations.
* Collect and store parcels for residents.
Essential Skills:
* Effective communication with residents, contractors, and stakeholders.
* Knowledge of health and safety legislation related to concierge services and estate cleaning.
* Personal safety and lone working practices.
* Accurate record-keeping.
* Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Desirable Skills:
* Negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
* Initiative and teamwork skills.
* Good general education (O level, GCSE, or equivalent).
* First Aid qualifications.
* Awareness of equality and diversity issues.
Other Duties:
* Reorganise tasks due to weather, staff shortages, and traffic issues.
* Maintain polite and respectful relationships with clients and residents.
* Work effectively with colleagues and follow instructions.
* Carry out any other reasonable duties as instructed.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
