Job Title: Commercial Plumber/Pipefitter
Location: Kent
Start Date: Immediate
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
Are you a skilled Commercial Plumber/Pipefitter seeking a challenging and rewarding role? We are currently looking for an experienced professional to join our team in Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and FM/maintenance contracts. If you have expertise in plumbing installations, repairs, and troubleshooting, we would love to hear from you.
Commercial Plumber/Pipefitter Responsibilities:
Evaluate existing plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
Install first and second plumbing systems.
Repair and replace existing plumbing installations.
Diagnose leaks, blockages, and corrosion, and propose effective rectification solutions.
Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as basins, sinks, toilets, and showers.
Install, repair, and replace pipes, valves, and related components.
Troubleshoot drainage systems by identifying problems and developing solutions.
Repair leaks in water supply lines and other pipelines.
Install full plantrooms utilising copper, crimped, and screwed iron pipework.
Install heating and plumbing pipework on new builds and refurbishments.
Work on FM, maintenance, and PPM contracts, including filter installation and servicing of heating systems, WCs, sinks, and above-ground drainage.
Install heating and plumbing pipework, radiators, warm air heaters, AHUs, pumps, water heaters, calorifiers, boilers, and Air Source Heat Pumps.
Demonstrate proficiency in crimping, soldering, and screwed pipework installations up to 4".
Travel to various work locations across the South East as required. Key Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum of Level 2 Plumbing or Commercial NVQ qualifications.
(Preferred) Commercial Gas Qualifications.
Ability to read schematic and layout drawings.
Excellent punctuality and a strong work ethic.
(Advantageous) Welding capability.
In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures, and safe systems.
A highly self-motivated, solution-focused approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency with mobile PDA devices.
(Preferred) SSSTS/SMSTS certifications.
Valid DBS and CSCS Card (Gold and above).
(Preferred) First Aid training, PASMA, and IPAF certifications.
Full, clean driver's licence. What We Offer:
