Commercial Account Handler – Commercial Insurance
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Commercial Account Handler to join our dynamic team at a growing insurance brokers in North Staffordshire. This role is pivotal in managing and developing relationships with clients in the commercial and business insurance sector.
Location: Stoke on Trent, ST5
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
Working Hours: Office Based - Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (flexible when required)
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management: Handle a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing expert advice and tailored solutions.
Sales Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and cross-sell insurance products to meet client needs and achieve sales targets.
Policy Administration: Manage renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business policies efficiently and accurately.
Customer Service: Deliver exceptional service by promptly addressing client queries and concerns, ensuring their insurance needs are fully met.
Market Liaison: Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms and coverage for clients. Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in commercial insurance, with a strong understanding of products and services.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Ability to work in a target-driven environment while maintaining a customer-first approach.
Strong organisational, attention to detail and proactive approach.
Cert CII qualification (or working towards) is advantageous.
