A finance company based in Blackburn, Lancashire, is looking for a Collections Administrator to join their team due to business expansion. They offer training in the Asset Finance industry, supporting SME growth in the UK. Working pattern is Monday to Friday 09:00am - 05:00pm with hybrid working after probation.
Your new role
As Collections Administrator your duties will include but are not limited to:
Handle failed mandates and live arrears, issue repossession agents when needed, and report updates to the Head of Collection and Recoveries.
Action unpaid and cancelled direct debits promptly.
Meet monthly cost of risk targets.
Manage daily diary notes and chase customers via phone and email.
Collect fees related to unpaid direct debits and agent appointments.
Maintain the good reputation of the company.
Handle incoming and outgoing calls professionally.
Process credit/debit card payments online.
Investigate customers and assets using available tools.
Assist in training new staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
