Job Description

CNC Turner required to join a well-established dynamic and reputable engineering company based in Hull that specialize in precision engineering. They are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Turner to join their team and assist with the Programming Setting and Operating of XYZ CNC Lathes. CNC Turner Job Overview Operate and set CNC lathes to produce precision components according to technical drawings and specifications. Program CNC machines Interpret engineering drawings and ensure components meet required tolerances. Perform quality checks using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Monitor the machining process to ensure optimal performance and resolve issues as needed. Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure smooth operation. Adhere to health and safety guidelines in the workshop environment. Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines and quality standards. CNC Turner Job Requirements Previous experience as a CNC Turner or similar role in an engineering or manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in using precision measuring tools. Understanding of CNC programming and operations Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
