Salary: £31,000- £37,000 dep on experience Near Scarborough Permanent CNC Turner Are you an experienced CNC Turner/ Precision Engineer looking for a new challenge? Staff Power Group, working closely with our client in Scarborough, is seeking a skilled professional to join a busy workshop specialising in precision-engineered components for a variety of industries. This is your chance to work on high-quality projects in a dynamic and supportive environment. Your Responsibilities * Produce Precision Components: Manufacture high-quality parts efficiently and accurately to meet production requirements. * Programming Expertise: Create programs and production methods for new parts. * Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC turning machines with FANUC controls. * Inspection & Quality Control: Perform first-off inspections using gauges and measuring instruments to ensure components meet exact specifications. * Team Contribution: Support production planning, material ordering, and day-to-day workshop operations. * Continuous Improvement: Maintain a clean, organized work environment and actively contribute to ISO9001 processes. What We’re Looking For * Strong experience with CNC turning machines and programming. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings with both imperial and metric dimensions. * Solid understanding of mechanical engineering and machining principles. * Ability to self-check and inspect your work before passing to the next stage of production. * A team-oriented, self-motivated professional who is reliable and meets deadlines consistently.
