Job Description
A leading manufacturer in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, is seeking an experienced Machinist to join their team. This hands-on role involves producing high-precision components using CNC Mills, Lathes, and manual machines. You'll play a key role in ensuring quality and accuracy in all machined parts.
What's the pay & hours?
Negotiable depending on experience
Monday to Thursday, 06:00 - 16:00 (four-day workweek)

Produce high-tolerance components using CNC and manual machines
Set up machinery with established tooling and programs
Conduct first-off inspections to ensure quality standards
Maintain health, safety, and quality in all work processes
Champion 5S and TPM principles for continuous improvement
Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
Work independently and meet production deadlinesWho are we looking for?
5+ years' experience in machining
Skilled in CNC Mills, Lathes, and manual machinery
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Machining qualification or time-served apprentice
Strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiencyBenefits:
