Class 2 Driver Location:   Walsall Duration:    Temp Ongoing Starting Pay Rate:  £14.00 p/h Here at Kerry Collins Recruitment, we are currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to work within the Walsall area. Our client, one of the UK's market-leading Wholesalers, have opportunities for Class 2 Drivers on an ongoing basis. The roles can offer experienced Class 2 Drivers ongoing working Day Shifts Monday – Friday starting at circa 05:00. Finish times can vary depending upon route but generally working 9hrs per day (with a min of 8 hours paid per shift) Duties to include: Delivering palletised goods to businesses around the UK  Completing multidrop deliveries Utilising both a pump and stack truck for all deliveries with a small amount of handball required Using an ePOD for all deliveries Liaising directly with customers both face to face and over the telephone Good communication and customer service skills You must be an experienced Class 2 Driver, with at least a minimum of 6 months driving experience and a maximum of 6 points. Key skills and attributes required for the role; Previous experience driving a refrigerated vehicle is an advantage but not essential A minimum of 6 months recent Class 2 Driving experience You must have held a driving licence for a minimum of 1 year No more than 6 points on your licence - NO DR's or DD's accepted This vacancy is a temporary ongoing position, offering immediate starts for the successful candidates and potentially becoming permanent If you are interested in applying to this role, please call a member of the team today on (phone number removed) to discuss the role further; or alternatively follow the link to apply
