Job Description
Our client, a multi disciplinary architectural practice, are currently looking for a Civil Engineer to join their growing team. Based in West Newcastle, this role will require some office working however can be some flexibility to work hybrid.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant contribution to a variety of projects and the opportunity for progression in the future. The role involves client liaison, quoting for services, and managing small-scale structural designs for residential, commercial, industrial, and leisure projects.
About the Civil Engineer Role
As Civil Engineer you will be engaging with clients and providing quotes for services, with the ability to analyse complex problems and develop efficient solutions.
Other requirements include:
* Design beams, columns, trusses, floors, foundations, retaining walls.
* Conduct defect and structural inspections and prepare detailed reports.
* Diagnose and report on subsidence issues, managing investigations and repairs.
* Oversee small engineering projects from inception to completion.
About You
As Civil Engineer, you will be preferably chartered, with clear communication skills with clients, architects, contractors and other stakeholders.
