Job Description

CI & Operations Manager Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a passion for driving efficiency, embedding Continuous Improvement (CI), and optimising manufacturing processes? Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where you can lead operational excellence and influence strategic growth?    Our client is seeking an Operations Manager who will not only oversee daily manufacturing operations but will also play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.    In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead from the front, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while championing lean methodologies, process optimisation, and New Product Introduction (NPI) to improve overall manufacturing performance.    Key Responsibilities of the Operations Manager: Oversee and manage daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and efficiency metrics are consistently met. Lead and embed a Continuous Improvement culture, driving Lean, Six Sigma, and other CI methodologies to enhance efficiency and eliminate waste. Work cross-functionally to design and implement process improvements, ensuring alignment with business goals. Promote a culture of operational excellence, training and coaching employees at all levels to adopt best practices. Optimise cell-based assembly operations, ensuring workflows are efficient and output quality is maintained at the highest standard. Lead and develop teams, ensuring a high-performance, engaged, and motivated workforce. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational effectiveness. Own and drive the NPI process, ensuring seamless integration into production with minimal disruption. Utilise SCRUM, Agile, and data-driven decision-making to enhance flexibility and responsiveness in manufacturing.    Ideal Operations Manager Candidate Profile: A degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field. Strong background in manufacturing operations with proven experience in driving Continuous Improvement initiatives. Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring smooth integration into existing manufacturing processes. Deep understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence frameworks. Strong analytical skills with a pragmatic, problem-solving approach. Excellent leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate, engage, and develop teams. Experience managing cross-functional teams, with a track record of implementing change and improving processes. A data-driven mindset with strong commercial awareness to align operational strategies with business objectives.    Why Join?
