About The Role Cotteswold Dairy, a well-established family business, is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Chilled Warehouse Team as pickers and packers. Based near M5 Junction 9 in Tewkesbury, we supply locally sourced milk, processed and packaged at our plant, to customers nationwide. As a Chilled Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role within our distribution chain, linking production and haulage to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of customer orders. This hands-on, physically active role requires working in a temperature-controlled environment with temperatures between 2-6 Celsius - where accuracy and efficiency are paramount.   PPT or LLOP Licenses preferred but not essential - full training will be given for right candidates. We have the newest 2025 technology electric equipment to support our Warehouse Operatives with daily tasks, operated by individual user cards.   Summary Days worked: Monday - Saturday Hours: Minimum of 37.5 hours per week, five shifts on a rota basis Shift Times: (Apply online only), (Apply online only); Saturdays one shift (Apply online only) with flexibility to stay longer on shift if required. Overtime: Overtime pay after 40 hours at 1.25 x standard pay   This role requires flexibility, as end times may vary due to production needs.   Main Duties Accurate picking and stock rotation of customer orders Stock replenishment and maintaining a safe, clean working environment Loading and securing orders on delivery vehicles Complying with food hygiene regulationsIdeal Candidate   We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Prior experience in a warehouse or food production environment is preferred but not essential; candidates who are proactive, accurate, and comfortable working under pressure are welcome to apply. This role offers a great opportunity for growth, with training and development programs provided to build your career in our Warehouse Department.   Important Notes This role requires manual handling and adherence to strict hygiene standards. Due to food hygiene regulations only one solid wedding band is permitted. No earrings, studs, bracelets, necklaces, makeup, strong smelling deodorants or perfumes are permitted in the production area.
