Job Description
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Chef De Partie to join Conwy Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract.
What You’ll Be Doing:
👨🍳 Preparing high-quality food for a variety of events, restaurant services, and café orders.
🔪 Assisting the Head Chef and Second Chefs in maintaining food standards, cost control, and portioning.
📋 Ensuring all food hygiene and safety standards are met to maintain a Level 5 Food Safety rating.
💡 Supporting menu planning and staff training initiatives.
👥 Supervising and supporting kitchen porters to maintain a smooth operation.
🏆 Playing a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience at Venue Cymru.
What We’re Looking For:
✔ 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
✔ Relevant catering qualifications and a Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (Level 3 desirable).
✔ Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
✔ Passion for delivering outstanding food and customer service.
Hours - Shifts will be based on a rota 5 days out of 7 various times from 8am - 9pm.
