Job Title: Demo Labourer
Job Summary:
As a Demo Labourer, you will play an essential role in supporting demolition projects by performing physical labor and assisting with various tasks. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, helping with the setup and teardown of equipment, maintaining a safe working environment, and completing tasks as assigned by supervisors or team leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the setup and teardown of demolition equipment, tools, and materials.
* Ensure safety protocols and guidelines are strictly followed on-site to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.
* Assist in the preparation of materials for disposal or recycling, ensuring proper handling and safety precautions.
* Carry out demolition-related tasks as directed by supervisors, such as breaking down walls, removing debris, or dismantling structures.
* Perform basic maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
* Follow all safety regulations and report any safety hazards immediately.
* Maintain cleanliness and order on the job site to minimize risks and promote efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Valid CCDO card.
* Rights to Work in the UK.
* Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting, carrying, and operating heavy equipment.
* Good communication skills for working with a team and following instructions.
* Strong attention to detail, especially regarding safety and equipment handling.
* Basic knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
Working Conditions:
* This position involves working in various weather conditions and may require exposure to noisy and hazardous environments.
* Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn at all times.
