Highpoint Care is looking to recruit a Unit Manager to be an integral part of our Care home and ensure our residents are living their best lives!
£13.11/hour (Days); Time and a Quarter for Overtime; Double Time for Bank Holidays.
Days, 8am to 8pm, 3 days on, 3 days off – Contracted to 42 hours per week.

As a Unit Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of a specific unit at the home. You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of care, managing a small team of Carers and maintaining compliance with Health and Safety regulations. The role involves coordinating care plans, monitoring resident outcomes, and liaising with families to ensure the wellbeing and comfort of residents.
Plus, you will be:
Delivering the highest standards of personalised care to residents.
A dynamic person who is patient and understanding of those with dementia.
Someone who is eager to learn and understands the demands of being a Care Assistant.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication skills, and a compassionate approach are essential to create a safe and supportive environment for both residents and staff. Experience in administering and overseeing medication, and you must ideally have NVQ Level 3, but we will consider people with NVQ Level 2 if experienced.
