Job Description

Are you a mechanically-minded individual with a keen eye for detail? Are you looking for a rewarding career in calibration? Our client, a leading provider of calibration services, is seeking a Calibration Technician to join their busy team based in Coventry. About the Role: As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for the calibration of mechanical, torque, force, and pressure gauges within a UKAS-accredited laboratory. You will also be required to carry out on-site calibrations at customer premises. Your key responsibilities will include: * Conducting calibration activities in line with BS EN ISO 17025:2017 standards * Maintaining accurate calibration records and generating certificates * Providing technical advice and support to customers * Reviewing and approving calibration certificates and reports * Liaising with senior management to optimize laboratory efficiency About You: Ideally, you will have a background in dimensional calibration, engineering inspection, or manufacturing. A strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and a passion for accuracy are essential. We are looking for individuals with a keen eye for detail, a methodical approach, and excellent problem-solving skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial. The Package: In return for your skills and dedication, you will receive a competitive salary of £25K-£35K per annum, depending on experience.
