Job Title: Cable Assembler
Location: Portsmouth - Denmead
Job Type: Ongoing Contract
Pay Rate: Up to £15 per hour PAYE / £19.80 umbrella (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm Friday: 7:30am – 1:00pm (37.5 hours per week)
Overtime: LOADS of Overtime Available at a Premium!
Weekdays: Time and a third
Weekends: Time and a halfAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cable Assembler to join a well-established manufacturing company on an ongoing contract. This role is ideal for individuals with previous experience in cable and harness assembly, or those skilled in soldering and crimping, looking to develop further.
Cable Assembler Key Responsibilities:
Full cable assembly including harness builds and looming
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Adhering to IPC-620 standardsCable Assembler Essential Skills & Experience:
Confident in soldering and crimping
Experience following engineering drawings
Cable and harness assembly experience is highly desirable
