Job Description

Exalto Consulting have partnered with a multinational engineering company who prioritise efficient, structured, and cost-effective engineering, fostering a culture of innovation and embracing contemporary methodologies. Their aim is to enhance efficiency and productivity for their customers by delivering cutting-edge automation technologies. They are currently recruiting for a C# Software Engineer and are looking to build a new software engineering team, working on a blend of greenfield and brownfield projects. This is a hybrid role, with 2 days a week onsite in Huntingdon, so the client will only consider applications from candidates within commuting distance. You will need to have previous experience of C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, Rabbit MQ. Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming, SDLC, Rest API and Event Driven Architecture. Software Development Tools: IDEs (e.g., Visual Studio, Visual Code), build tools (Azure Pipeline), version control (e.g., Git). Database Management: Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB, Graph QL), and data manipulation. Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud platforms (Azure). DevOps: Familiarity with automation tools like Docker, Kubernetes for deployment and Azure Pipeline for CI/CD. You will be expected to hit the ground running and there will be opportunities for progression as the organisation and team grows in numbers.
