Are you a dynamic and strategic leader with a passion for education? A federation of five schools in Central London is seeking an experienced Business Manager to oversee financial and operational management, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of 5 primary schools.
About the Role
As the Federation Business Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the financial sustainability and administrative effectiveness of the schools. Working closely with headteachers and senior leaders, you will drive strategic financial planning, resource management, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the federation
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices
Oversee procurement, payroll, HR administration, and risk management
Manage and develop administrative teams to support school operations
Coordinate with auditors, stakeholders, and external partners
Support decision-making by providing data-driven financial insights
Drive efficiency in resource allocation, facilities management, and contract negotiationsWhat We're Looking For
Proven experience in school business management or a similar financial leadership role
Exceptional organisational and analytical skills
Ability to lead and inspire teams across multiple sites
