Job Overview: We are seeking dynamic and experienced Business Lecturers to join our faculty. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lectures to students across various business-related courses. You will inspire, support, and mentor students, ensuring they gain the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in the business world.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lectures and seminars in Business Studies, including areas such as Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, and Entrepreneurship.
Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations.
Provide academic guidance, feedback, and pastoral support to students to enhance their learning experience.
Develop and update course materials to align with curriculum requirements and industry trends.
Engage in continuous professional development to ensure the highest teaching standards.
Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and college events.
Contribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processes.
Collaborate with colleagues and industry professionals to enhance student employability prospects.Essential Requirements:
A relevant degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
Experience in teaching Business Studies at Further Education (FE) or Higher Education (HE) level.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
Up-to-date knowledge of business practices and industry developments.
Proficiency in using digital learning tools and virtual learning environments (VLEs).Desirable Attributes:
A master’s degree or higher qualification in a business-related discipline.
Experience in curriculum development and assessment design.
Industry experience in business, marketing, finance, or entrepreneurship.
Familiarity with Ofsted requirements and quality assurance processes in education.Benefits:
