Our Client is a leading provider of energy solutions specialising in reducing energy costs and delivering customised energy-efficient projects across Ireland.
Renowned in the energy efficiency industry for delivering turnkey, energy-saving projects for residential, commercial, community, and public sector clients nationwide.
Due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join the existing team in my clients Cork office.
This role will focus on client acquisition, partnerships, and outbound business development activities throughout Ireland , while also working with the marketing team to ensure alignment with my clients promotional strategies and brand messaging.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a key representative of the company, promoting my clients services nationally and enhancing brand recognition through direct client engagement and strategic partnerships.
Focus on outbound efforts to engage with prospects, qualify leads, and convert them into revenue-generating opportunities.
Offer feedback from client interactions and market insights to guide future marketing strategies and campaigns.
Build and maintain relationships with industry organisations, stakeholders, and partners to enhance the company's presence and create growth opportunities.
Attend and represent the company at trade shows, webinars, conferences, and events to build relationships and expand the company's network
Collaborate with marketing to ensure event promotion and branding are consistent with the company's messaging.
Track business development activities, including market trends, lead conversion rates, and sales performance, and provide regular reports to senior management.Requirements::
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
Strong understanding of lead qualification, client engagement, and outbound business development strategies.
Proficiency in CRM tools, sales software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Experience collaborating with marketing teams to align business development and branding efforts.
