A regional contractor has a new opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their successful company.
In this integral role you will have overall responsibilities for marketing and business development along with management duties for an existing team.
The main purpose of your role will be to:
• Research prospective clients within the public sector, education, health and heritage sectors.
• Qualify and pitch the companys service to potential decisions makers and convert leads into long term clients
• Understanding specific client needs and developing the right approach to meet their requirements.
• Working to hit weekly and monthly targets and keeping on top of the pipeline.
• Being creative and using your initiative to develop the client base.
• Maintain a record of all activity on the company CRM system and complete monthly and ad hoc reports as required.

This exciting opportunity will suit you if you have the following attributes and experience:
• Minimum 10 years' experience in a Business Development Manager role with a SME in construction.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.
• Enjoys the responsibility of leading, motivating and managing a team
• Organised, energetic and creative
• Presentable, professional and an excellent people skills.
