Job Description
A Business Development Manager job has just become available at a growing property improvement company. They are a trusted name in homes and business across York, Harrogate, Ripon, and beyond. This is a hybrid role, working 2/3 days per week in the office.
THE ROLE:
As our Business Development Manager, you won’t just be selling services—you’ll be building relationships, creating opportunities, and driving real growth
You’re the kind of person who can walk into a room and have people instantly at ease, someone who can sell without it ever feeling like a pitch
Energetic, driven, and naturally persuasive, you thrive on making connections, spotting opportunities, and turning conversations into long-term relationships

KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Previous sales experience is essential
You'll thrive on building relationships, spotting opportunities, and making things happen
Selling is second nature —not through pushy tactics, but by understanding people, creating trust, and offering solutions that genuinely fit

SALARY & BENEFITS:
£28,000 - £35,000 basic salary, dependent on experience
£40,000 - £50,000 on target earnings
20 days holiday + public holidays
Pension
Car mileage allowance.
