Job Description

An integral member of the sales team, this Business Development Coordinator role is a pivotal hire for the company and one which will see you identify and follow up on opportunities. What’s in it for you as a Business Development Coordinator? * Work hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday with a 4pm finish on Friday * Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 with a bonus between £1,000 and £3,000 dependent on experience * 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays * Cycle to work scheme * Contributory pension scheme Business Development Coordinator Responsibilities: * Follow up on all outstanding quotes, making detailed notes on the CRM for the benefit of the sale * Negotiate the best prices for the customer and business, always considering company margins to ensure maximum profitability * Request purchase orders to improve the conversion of quotes into sales * Identifying potential business opportunities through LinkedIn, website and word of mouth * Actively upsell and promote the company's products and their benefits * Utilise the CRM system to log potential and live projects * Feedback to the Sales Managers and Estimators to support the close of sales Business Development Coordinator Skills and Experience: * Has a history of making high volume outbound calls and is confident closing sales and handling enquiries * Thrives in a sales-driven environment and enjoys identifying opportunities to increase business and revenue * Exposure to the constriction industry would be beneficial but not essential * Boasts excellent clear communication skills and telephone manner, able to liaise at all levels, with customers, suppliers, and colleagues * Results-driven, always looking for opportunities and ways to improve performance, and happy to challenge new business methods * A natural problem-solver, able to handle and resolve issues as and when they arise * Possesses leadership skills, confident in training new employees * Strong computer skills, able to use MS Office confidently * Good organisation skills, able to prioritise workloads and able to respond rapidly
