Job Description

Business Development Assistant Llansamlet, Swansea (Hybrid working*) OTE £28,500pa As a Business Development Assistant, you will be responsible for developing existing client relationships, qualifying and pursuing new client opportunities and building the company's brand in accordance with their values and mission statement Main duties and responsibilities as Business Development Assistant: * Support the Business Development Executives to deliver and exceed sales targets. * Support the Business Development Executives in general business development activity where necessary, preparing for events, meetings campaigns. * Qualify all leads by converting to contact, tiering and assigning. * Set up appointments for Business Development Executives. * Action post-event delegate call feedback. * Create new prospect lists. * Promote company events through Social Media channels. * Conduct invite calls to customers for specific events. * Be accountable for all invoices/payments prior to events. * Update and maintain Salesforce/ CRM. * Assist with general administration and ad hoc tasks supporting the sales team. This would suit a recent graduate or someone looking to move into either a sales or marketing pathway Skills & Experience required as Business Development Assistant: * Educated to a good standard * Sales and customer service driven * Organised, disciplined and takes pride in their work * Able to use Social Media platforms particularly LinkedIn * Competent in using all Microsoft Packages * Flexible and willing to Travel to events in London and possibly Europe as and when required *Hybrid working 3 days in the office, 2 days remotely (NLR Ltd is acting on behalf of its Client as an Employment Agency)
