Brio Digital are supporting a growing software company who are currently looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join their team and help bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
Salary; up-to £50,000 DOE
Although primarily remote, there may be need to travel on-site periodically so being local to Greater Leeds is a bonus.
The Role:
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a key role in driving the success of our technology projects. You will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and product teams to gather and analyse requirements, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and technical feasibility. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to transformative projects in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize requirements.
Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications and user stories.
Work closely with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and successful implementation of solutions.
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to clarify project objectives and resolve ambiguities.
Conduct gap analysis and propose innovative solutions to bridge business and technical requirements.
Support testing efforts by creating test cases, reviewing results, and coordinating user acceptance testing.
Maintain and improve documentation standards for business processes, workflows, and system functionalities.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a technical or software development environment.
Strong understanding of systems architecture, data modeling, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience working with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Proficiency in using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred
