They are seeking a talented and experienced Director to lead their building surveying division in Leeds. Role Overview:
As the Director of the Building Surveying Division, you will take full responsibility for leading a high-performing team and ensuring the delivery of outstanding building surveying services to clients. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the division’s strategy, expanding business opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines technical expertise with business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of building surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
Take responsibility for the business development strategy for the division, identifying new opportunities and fostering client relationships.
Oversee complex building surveying services, including dilapidations, party wall matters, technical due diligence, and project management.
Collaborate with senior leadership to shape the growth and direction of the division.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality services, in line with industry standards and regulations. Requirements:
MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent professional qualification.
Proven experience in leading building surveying teams and delivering successful projects.
Strong technical expertise in building surveying disciplines including dilapidations, party wall surveys, and technical due diligence.
A proactive approach to business development and client relationship management.
Excellent communication and leadership skills. Benefits:
