Building Physics Engineer Reference: BY1671 Location: Birmingham Salary: £39,000 - £47,000 We are seeking an experienced Building Physics Engineer to join a dynamic team and carry out building performance analysis to support teams and meet energy efficient targets. The key responsibilities of this Building Physics Consultant role include: Carrying out energy modelling and building simulations. Establishing Part L Compliance, CIBSE TM59/52 & AD O Compliance, EPCs, CIBSE TM54 Operational Energy, SAP Assessments. Writing and delivering reports to clients. Contributing to business development.Requirements to be considered for this Building Physics Consultant role: Experience using Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES VE) building simulation software (Model IT, ApacheSim, VistaPro, MacroFlo, VE Compliance). Experience with Part L compliance, EPCs, CIBSE TM59/52 Overheating Analysis. Have demonstratable building physics experience in energy modelling and building simulation. Knowledge of UK building regulations, energy codes and planning requirements. A degree in building physics or a similar relevant subject.
