Job Title: Temporary Building Manager – Social Housing
Location: South London Patch
Contract Type: Temporary (3-6 months, potential extension)

About the Role:
Hyperion Partners is seeking an experienced Building Manager for a leading Social Housing provider. This temporary role is ideal for a proactive and hands-on professional with a strong background in building management, maintenance coordination, and compliance within a residential setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of residential buildings within the social housing portfolio.
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, fire safety, and building maintenance standards.
Manage planned and reactive maintenance, liaising with contractors and service providers.
Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to ensure the buildings remain safe and well-maintained.
Coordinate tenant communications regarding maintenance works and property-related concerns.
Support the management of service contracts, ensuring value for money and high standards of service delivery.
Respond to emergency repairs and building-related incidents effectively.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as a Building Manager, Facilities Manager, or Estate Manager in a residential or social housing environment.
Strong knowledge of health & safety, compliance, and fire safety regulations.
Experience in managing repairs, maintenance contracts, and service providers.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, IWFM Level 3+ (desirable but not essential).
