Job Description
Brickwork / External Manager – New Build Residential – South West London
We are currently looking for an Externally-focused Site Manager with a bricklaying background for a large residential development in South West London. We are recruiting for a reputable developer and seek someone who has ideally worked on large, multi-phased schemes before - high-rise apartment blocks.
Desired Experience:
* Brickwork, SFS, doors/windows, masonry
* Strong knowledge of traditional brickwork
* SMSTS / NVQ Level 6
* Extensive experience in delivering external packages
Daily Responsibilities:
* Coordinate with site managers, contractors, and suppliers to align façade work with the project schedule
* Produce programs of work and planning ahead
* Identify and resolve issues related to façade installation, such as material defects or design discrepancies
* QA
* Communicate with all trades and subcontractors to ensure quality project delivery
* Provide regular updates on progress to the project manager
