£28,000-£29,000p/a
Are you an experienced bookkeeper with an eye for detail and a passion for numbers? We’re supporting our client to find a skilled and dedicated professional to join their team and help keep financial records accurate and up to date.
About the Role: As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate ledgers, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting our business operations and contributing to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
Recording day-to-day financial transactions
Reconciling bank statements and accounts
Preparing financial reports
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Assisting with payroll processing
Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
Producing monthly P & L and budget management accounts. Fully understand such reports and be able to discuss with management What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping software
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAGE.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
This is a full time permanent position with a salary of £28,000p/a - £29,000p/a.
