Providing assistance to students in classrooms
Work closely with other staff members, such as behaviour mentors, youth workers, and pastoral care workers
Providing 1:1 direct intervention and support within the classroom
Contribute to creating a positive learning environment for students in collaboration with the class teacher
Observe and evaluate pupils' responses about the progress of their learning and interventions
Ensure that all pupils are included in the classroom
Provide support to the class teacher when it comes to managing classroom behaviour
Maintain communication with the behavioural and SLT teams regarding the progress of the students
Support young people who struggle in the classroom by mentoring them
