Behaviour Mentor - Preston: Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced behaviour mentor to join the team at a school near to Preston. You will be supporting children with SEMH and challenging behaviour. The Role: Providing opportunities to progress social, emotionally and academically Leading by example as a role model Having an understanding of individual needs Offering guidance and mentoring Providing a nurturing and encouraging environment to learnPosition Details: Location: Preston Position: Behaviour Mentor Type of Work: Temporary Full time/Part time: Full time only Hours: 8am-3:15pm Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience Start date: 24/02/2025 End date: OngoingExperience, Training & Qualifications: Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided) Team Teach training is highly desired Experience of supporting challenging behaviours and de-escalation techniquesTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
