Job Description

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing company that specializes in producing high performance vehicles is currently looking for a Battery Build Technician. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of skilled engineers and technicians to assemble and test battery packs, ensuring they meet exacting standards for safety, quality, and performance.   The Battery Build Technician will: Maintain detailed records of all battery build activities, including assembly steps, quality checks, and test results. Contribute to the continuous improvement of battery assembly processes, suggesting enhancements and efficiencies. Utilize specialized tools, equipment, and machinery for accurate assembly. Identify and address any defects, deviations, or non-conformities. Conduct thorough quality checks and inspections to ensure all battery packs meet established standards.     The Battery Build Technician will have: Proven experience in assembly, manufacturing, or production roles, preferably in the automotive or electronics industry IT Literacy and ability to utilise CAD Viewers & PLM database systems. A technical certification in electrical / electronic engineering or related subject is strongly desirable. Proficient in using hand and power tools, and comfortable working with delicate components.
