Job Description
We are recruiting for a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join the West Lancs CAMHS Team based at Westgate House, Skelmersdale.
This role is open to RMNs, Occupational Therapists, or Social Workers with CAMHS experience, working within a multi-disciplinary community mental health team for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct initial assessments (IA) for children and young people referred to the service.
Work within the duty rota, triaging new referrals and responding to urgent cases.
Manage a caseload of young people with varied mental health presentations.
Attend and contribute to Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) meetings.
Participate in care planning, risk management, and safeguarding processes.
📅 Start Date: ASAP
⏳ Contract Length: Until 31/03/2025
🕒 Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
📍 Location: West Lancs CAMHS, Westgate House, Skelmersdale, WN8 6DS
💰 Band: 6
