Job Description

Are you a skilled AWS SysOps Administrator looking for an opportunity to deliver cutting edge Cloud projects into Government and Defence clients? A growing consultancy is looking for a number of AWS professionals to join their expanding team. They offer a progressive, dynamic and collaborative environment as well as the opportunity to work on some incredibly innovative projects. The successful AWS SysOps Administrator will play a critical role in management, security, optimisation and reliability of both the internal and client-side AWS environment. The AWS SysOps Administrator will be responsible for: AWS Infrastructure Management (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC) Security and Compliance Monitoring and alerting systems Backup and disaster recovery Automation / IaC Incident management The AWS SysOps Administrator will work closely with DevOps and the wider technical and leadership team to ensure the AWS based systems exceed market standards. Please get in touch if you have the following experience as a AWS SysOps Administrator: Strong hands-on experience with AWS / Amazon Web Services Linux / Unix with Shell scripting Good understanding of networking principles Excellent communication and problem solving skills Any AWS certifications would be advantageous, specifically AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or AWS DevOps Engineer certifications The salary and benefits will be dependent on experience but will be in the range of £40,000 - £80,000.
