Autoclave/Machine Operator ** Blackburn/Lancashire area £13.00 - £15.00p/h DOE + OT (PAYE or UMBRELLA – inside IR35) 3-month temporary contract Temp to perm opportunity Aerospace / autoclave / technical / composites / process I am working with a key client in the Blackburn, Lancashire area who are a leading global manufacturer and supplier of technical components to the aerospace sector. They are looking to recruit an Autoclave Operative, to work on the build and process of composite and fibre glass assemblies, for critical projects: As an Autoclave Operator, you will be required to conduct the following duties: Working in a machinery environment, operating the autoclave machniery Use basic hand tools Follow work schedules ensuring all correct items are processed Work with composite materials Work to Health & Safety procedures - ensure no one operates unsafely or puts themselves at risk The Autoclave Operator will need to have the following attributes: Ideally qualified with NVQ L1 or 2 in Manufacturing (or similar) would be beneficial but not essential Strong attention to detail and mechanically minded Hard worker with standards A strong team player Experience within a machinery operating environment Autoclave machinery experience would be highly beneficial (not essential) Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for Health, Safety and Quality The benefits of this position: Monday to Thursday 37 hours p/e standard. Overtime Friday & Saturdays T1.5 & Sundays T2.
