Job Description

Auto Electrician / Electrical Installation Technician A fantastic opportunity is currently available for an experienced Auto Electrician to join a market leader in specialist, low emission/alternative fuel, vehicle refit and manufacture. In return a comprehensive benefits package is on offer, plus a 4-day working week, in a modern, well-equipped facility, in Oxfordshire. Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for the installation and test of chassis and body electrical control systems, ensuring the necessary quality standards are maintained and adhered to. Responsible for the installation and modification of vehicle wiring harnesses and components as detailed in the build documentation. Responsible for the termination of various automotive and high voltage connections up to 800V AC or DC Responsible for the test and commissioning of the vehicle electrical system as per the quality assurance documentation. Responsible for the fault finding and repair of the vehicle electrical system using bespoke diagnostic software. Undertake any training or retraining associated with the post, or introduction of new working practices or engineering changes including the training of others.
