Job Description
Title: QCC Quality Assessor
Location: Bedfordshire
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000
Hours: Full-Time, permanent

This is an excellent role for someone with a keen eye for detail and interested in playing a major role in an exciting and ambitious business.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality assurance procedures to ensure full compliance with food safety regulations and industry best practices.
* Oversee the entire production process - from raw materials to finished goods - conducting regular inspections, tests, and audits to maintain quality at every stage.
* Identify areas for process and product enhancements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and strengthen overall quality standards.
* Collect, review, and analyse quality data and metrics to spot trends, highlight areas for improvement, and support data-driven decision-making.
* Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to assess, qualify, and monitor supplier performance, ensuring all products meet approved specifications.
* Arrange and coordinate internal and external audits, including quarterly Product Knowledge Guide Audits, reporting any findings and ensuring swift corrective actions.
* Investigate product quality issues raised by customers, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventative measures.
* Educate and guide staff on quality control processes, food safety standards, and best practices, fostering a strong quality-first culture across the team.
* Maintain accurate records of quality checks, audit reports, COAs, and other key documentation to support traceability and regulatory compliance.
* Quickly troubleshoot any food safety or quality-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to production and consistently high product standards.
About you:
* Experience in a similar role within food manufacturing is required
* Access to your own transport
