Job Description

I am seeking a dynamic Audit and Accounts Manager to join an established accountancy practice based in Exeter. Do you hold an ACA | ACCA qualification that is able to manage a team? The organisation has a client base that ranges from start-ups to significant charities and NFP organisations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the delivery of audits and accounts and assisting the senior management and directors. Job Title: Audit & Accounts Manager Location: Exeter Contract: Permanent Salary: £44,000.00 - £48,000.00 Your responsibilities on a day-to-day basis will include: * 50% Audit | 50% Accounts (including Charity | NFP sector) * Management and delivery of audit/accounts assignments * Oversee workflow and management of a small team * Review Audit files ahead of director review * Review and prepare draft corporation tax and business tax computations including support analysis * Preparation of statutory accounts from client trial balance * Assist senior management & Partners * Ad hoc project work To be considered: * ACA | ACCA qualification * Experience managing a team * Work to tight and conflicting deadlines * Ability to multi-task * Experience managing accounts assignments including planning, preparation, completion and delivery * Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting * Experience using IRIS and My Work Papers (not essential) This role comes with: Flexible hybrid working options 2 days WFH/3 days Office | 37.5 working hours | Enhanced holiday allowance 25 days pro rata and opportunity to buy more | Birthday leave | Study Support | Paid professional Membership fees | Life Assurance | + many more Further information can be provided by contacting Sally on (phone number removed) | (phone number removed) or to apply submit a CV.
