Job Description

IN2-AV are actively seeking Audio Visual Technicians to work on-sites across London both directly with clients and also via 3rd parties!    Candidates would need to have strong all-round knowledge of audio, video and lighting systems, and be comfortable using the different interfaces. Key Responsibilities Ensuring all meeting room equipment is operational and undertaking repairs as required Facilitating users with computer outputs to AV equipment Setting up video/audio conference equipment and enabling users Designing and implementing AV solutions for various events Operating equipment, such as sound desks and cameras as needed Logging all faults and changes to systems to expedite fixes in the future Other duties as required by management Essential Skills Previous experience in a facilities / AV warehouse and/or previous experience as an in-house Engineer/Technician Broad and comprehensive knowledge of Audio and Visual equipment Must be competent in operating a wide-range of equipment in live event scenarios, including sound desks and programmable lighting desks Windows & OSX expertise as end-users operate both systems Must have an understanding of networks, in particular multicasts, VLANS, and iptv systems Knowledge of a range of VC systems, i.e. Polycom, Cisco, Clearcom, etc Flexibility a must as events are primarily evening-based and attendance is expected Personable and amiable nature Willingness to learn Desirable Skills Qualified Infocomm CTS accreditation or equivalent Project management experience Previous event experience CAD draughtsman skills This job was brought to you by IN2 AV, an independent specialist AV Recruitment agency offering AV staffing and AV headhunting services across the UK and Europe
