Are you a driven and commercially minded planning professional looking for your next challenge? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dynamic and highly respected Town Planning consultancy practice at Associate level in their Edinburgh office.
About the Role
As an Associate Planning Consultant, you will:
Manage a variety of projects across development sectors including energy, infrastructure, residential, retail, commercial, healthcare, tourism, and leisure.
Handle planning applications, appeals, and development plan submissions.
Prepare planning appraisals and carry out in-depth research.
Play an active role in delivering strategic advice to clients with a commercial focus.About You
You should have:
An RTPI-accredited degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning.
A minimum of 5 years of professional post-qualification experience.
Strong project management and organisational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
A proactive and commercially focused approach.Essential Skills:
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Problem-solving and negotiation expertise.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
