Associate Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services) References: BY1677 Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 Location: Winchester An exciting opportunity for an Associate Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the built environment has presented itself near Winchester. With over 40 years of industry experience in Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health engineering consultancy and with an expanding specialist team to work amongst, this is a great opportunity to take on more responsibility and develop your career. The Associate Mechanical Design Engineer selected will be responsible for project coordination, design work and supervising staff and projects. You will be: Attending meetings with team members, clients and contractors. Carrying out report writing and condition surveys. Navigating and providing solutions to team members and client technical issues. Providing budget costs and commenting on tenders. Attending progress meetings, monitoring contractor work and witnessing final testing carried out by contractors. Monitoring the finances of projects. This role includes a variety of other roles.To be considered for the position you must: Have extensive experience as a mechanical engineer within the built environment / in building services. Have a degree in Mechanical Engineering Live in or near to Winchester.
