The Role
This consultancy is seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing team. Their MEP tea has expanded from 10 to 40 people in 2 years alone… The successful candidate will take a lead role in designing and delivering high-quality electrical systems across a variety of sectors. Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design of electrical systems for diverse projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
* Oversee the technical delivery of projects, including resource planning, budgeting, and quality assurance.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, fostering talent within the team.
* Maintain and develop client relationships, contributing to business development activities.
* Ensure designs meet security clearance standards for MOD/MOJ projects.

Who They're Looking For
The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a proven ability to deliver complex electrical designs. They will be a natural leader with a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sustainable design.
Essential Requirements
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
* Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance (SC).
* Extensive experience in electrical design across multiple sectors.
* Proficiency in design software such as Amtech, Dialux, and Revit MEP.
* Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and industry standards.
* Leadership and project management experience.
