Assistant Site Manager - SHDF Project - Greenwich - £25-£28 per hour - Immediate Start Decarbonise Social Housing with a Leading Team! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Site Manager to join our team on an exciting new Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) project in Greenwich. This role will involve supporting the Site Manager in the delivery of a range of energy efficiency measures, including External Wall Insulation (EWI), Cavity Wall Insulation (CWI), roof works, and window/door replacements. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Site Manager in all aspects of site operations, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance standards are met at all times. Provide guidance and on-the-job training to the site team, particularly in areas such as window installations and roof works. Embrace the use of new software platforms like Deluxe to streamline site paperwork and improve efficiency. Proactively identify and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the project. Maintain all necessary qualifications, including CSCS card, asbestos awareness, and SMSTS. Essential Skills & Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Site Manager or Site Supervisor, ideally within the context of SHDF or related energy efficiency retrofit projects. Strong knowledge of window installations, roof works, and cavity wall insulation techniques. A solid understanding of the SHDF scheme requirements and processes. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively support and guide the site team. Proficiency in using digital tools and software for site management. Relevant construction qualifications, including CSCS card, asbestos awareness, and SMSTS.
